Hey everyone! I’m on vacation in The Alps and a little absent from the blogging world. Thank goodness for the awesome blogging community to help me out! Loulou from Loulou Downtown will be guest posting for me today. She was extremely sweet to visit my favourite place in Toronto and report back here about it! Loulou is living downtown Toronto with her husband Nick. On her blog she shares very interesting stories about her adventures, the city, DIYs and recipes…oh, and her (very) cute cat! So, without further ado…
I am delighted to be guest posting here at Laura’s blog! She and I met through our blogs and we’ve become fast on-line friends. In addition to the fact that she is such a sweetie and writes about interesting topics, our attraction could also be because we share the experience of both having lived in Toronto, where I currently am. Through my posts about life in this city, I can show her what she has left behind, while she is off living a dream and residing in France!
For this guest post I suggested that she select one of her favourite places in Toronto and then I would go there and check it out and report back. The place she picked was “Wanda’s Pie in The Sky”, located in Kensington Market.
Though I have spent much time in this market shopping for food, I had never been to Wanda’s, so was excited to go there and see it. What I found was a warm and friendly place, selling the most delectable looking treats. Aside from the gorgeous sweet things they had on offer, they also had a counter filled with tasty looking salads and light meals. And the aroma of freshly brewed fair-trade coffee permeated the environment.
I bought a selection of goodies to bring home to share with my husband Nick. They were all very good though we both particularly loved the molasses cookie! Delicious.
In closing I’d like to thank Laura for inviting me to guest post, and also to thank her for introducing me to Wanda’s Pie in The Sky.
With friendly regards, Loulou
Also check out the post that Loulou just wrote about Kensignton market here!
