This was our last full day in Thailand before heading home the next morning.
Although it would have been amazing to travel 4 hours outside of Bangkok to a really beautiful beach, we just didn’t have the time. Tourists in Bangkok often travel only 2 hours South to Pataya to enjoy a beach (although not very beautiful) and we really didn’t want to go to a not so beautiful beach. So someone suggested we take a ferry from Pataya to the island Kho Larn right off of the coast. The beach was pretty there.
We were planning on heading back to Bangkok that night so we could take a cab to the hotel in the morning but when we called the Imm Fushion to see if they had any rooms available, they were booked, so we walked down the streets of Pataya looking for a hotel (we noticed that there was an airport express bus directly from here so it worked out well).
We ended up finding exactly the one we needed, with amazing service. Did we mention how awful the service was the night before in Bangkok at another hotel? No? It was a terrible experience and we did not want to have to go through that again so this was a pleasant surprise.
After taking the last ferry back to Pataya from Kho Larn we found a restaurant where we could sit directly by the water and enjoy some of the best Thai food I have ever had.
Then we were waking back to our hotel when we noticed a sign for Thai massages. We both ended up getting a Thai massage for only $5 each! The best massage of my life, I’d like to add. Have you ever had a Thai massage? They move you around and stand on you and use their elbows…it’s really wonderful. Go get one NOW!
So the day ended up working in our favour!
Until next time lovelies

Oh my goodness, another dreamy post about your Thai experience. It really sounds like you had a fantastic trip. That underwater shot of Max is terrific! xo
Sounds like the massage I had in China. They actually used mini-hammers to hit us with as well. It was kind of painful but afterwards you feel like you’re floating on air. I’d love to go to Thailand for the massages alone! They’re way to expensive here in Denmark to even contemplate doing.
