A Post On Chlorophyll

I really don’t like drinking water. I do not like the taste of nothingness but juice has all that extra sugar that I don’t need and dairy products do not hydrate. I kind of need to drink water (don’t we all!). I am very sensitive to the sensations in my body, which can be a bad thing sometimes when I am worrying whether or not I have a deadly disease because I feel a little bloated. It is a good thing when I can sense that I am dehydrated. With all this humidity lately I have been sweating but definitely NOT drinking enough water. When I feel thirsty I kind of ignore it and it goes away.  The result=waking up with headaches. But I hate drinking water..

This all changed lately. I have been adding chlorophyll to my water and now I love the taste (tastes better when you only add a little bit instead of the huge amount I added the first couple of times I drank it). It has a slight minty taste to it and knowing that the stuff is really healthy makes drinking water easier too!

Anyways, I got curious. What exactly are the benefits of chlorophyll?I was browsing the net looking for the actual benefits of chlorophyll last night and I came upon one link that stood out the most.

Here is it: http://www.nutritional-supplements-health-guide.com/chlorophyll-benefits.html

This is all from that link…

Benefits include (I’m quoting them):

  • “It may reduce the ability of carcinogens to bind with the DNA in different major organs in the body.”
  • “It is also found to be useful in assimilating and chelating calcium and other heavy minerals.”
  • “Chlorophyll is also an effective deodorizer to reduce bad breath, urine, fecal waste, and body odor.”
  • “It has been seen to help in the growth and repair of tissues.”

There are more benefits and you can check out that link above to read them. The site also provides info. on exactly what this stuff is.

Not only that but it’s fun to take pictures of!

Just don’t get it on your clothes!!! (It acts very similarly to blood)
