One day I felt like a banana cream pie but didn’t have a recipe for one, nor the internet to search a recipe for one. Oh, and I was at the grocery story. So, I invented this and it turned out perfect and exactly how I wanted it to turn out.

Banana cream pie is my favourite cream pie. Next is key lime pie. But banana wins that race for sure. Even though I mentioned before that lemon/lime desserts are my FAV ever! This pie still wins.

You will need…

• 1 prepared pie dough, baked (here is a great post you may want to look at)
• 5 bananas
• 1/3 cup + 2 teaspoons sugar
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 2 egg yolks
• 2 1/2 cups milk
• 1/2 cup table cream
• 1/2 cup whipping cream

Now do this…Et voila! Enjoy!
