The Hills Are Alive…The Alps: Part 2

This wraps up all the posts on my vacation!

As you can see, I posted an (embarrassing) video of myself coming down a very tiny little baby hill on my first day skiing ever (in my entire life!)…I hope that I can post myself coming down a steeper hill next year!

It was really impractical to bring my camera around with me on the days that we skied but on the last day I didn’t ski and specifically so I could take my camera everywhere and snap some awesome photos of these breathtaking mountains.

Max’s father and I made our way up to the very top of the mountain via a couple of gondolas where there was a cave carved into the glacier. Over the past few years, artists have been sculpting magnificent creatures and other things into the glacier in this cave and we visited it. You can see a couple of the sculptures above.

We were lucky to have the sun during the day and pretty great weather. And I was ecstatic to be in the snow!!

Even luckier, on our way down the mountain we spotted the Mont Blanc (the highest mountain in Europe) which had been hiding all week long…kind of magical if you ask me!

I cannot wait to go back! Really!

Have a great day everyone!
